What is HIPEC?
HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) combines surgical removal of visible cancer with heated chemotherapy applied directly inside the abdomen. It is used in selected patients where cancer has spread to the peritoneal surface.
What is PIPAC?
PIPAC (Pressurised Intraperitoneal Aerosol Chemotherapy) delivers chemotherapy as a pressurised mist inside the abdomen using a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach. It is considered for patients who are not suitable for major open surgery.
What is Robotic Cancer Surgery?
Robotic surgery uses a precision robotic system controlled by a specialist surgeon to perform complex cancer operations with smaller cuts, greater accuracy, and faster recovery compared to conventional open surgery.
